Viewing, editing and removing communications within communication automations
In this article, we walk you through the process of viewing, editing, and removing communications within your automation workflows. Whether you want to preview what your stakeholders will receive, make edits to a message, or remove a communication altogether, this article will cover that.
Viewing step by step guide
- Navigate to the communications page using the menu on the left.

- Select a communication automation from your list to open it.

- At the top, under each stakeholder a communication has been created for, click ‘View’ to open the preview slideover to see what will be sent to that specific stakeholder.

- Observe the slideover to preview the communication.

Editing a communication step by step guide
- Navigate to the communications page using the menu on the left.

- Select a communication automation from your list to open it.

- Click ‘Settings' at the top right of the page.

- On the relevant communication you wish to edit, click ‘Edit’.

- Edit the content of the communication on the slideover as necessary.

- Click ‘Done’ to update the communication.

- Click ‘update’ at the top right of the page

The communication has been updated!
ℹ️ You can also update the trigger settings on this page, just be sure to click 'Update' if you make any changes whatsoever.
Removing a communication step by step guide
- Navigate to the communications page using the menu on the left.
- Select a communication automation from your list to open it.

- Click ‘Settings' at the top right of the page.

- On the relevant communication you wish to edit, click the ‘x' next to the 'edit’ button.

- Click ‘update’ at the top right of the page

The communication has been removed from being sent to the stakeholder and the automation has been updated.
