Updating the application status of a candidate

You can update the application status of a candidate directly from the Conveya platform.

Step by step guide

1. Navigate to the ‘Career Path’ page on the Conveya platform using the menu sidebar on the left.
2. Click ‘Training’ at the top right to open the training page.
3. At the top of the training page, click ‘Applicants’.
4. Click any name on the Applicants table to open the candidate slide over.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the slide over, under ‘Actions’ click ‘Update application status’

6. Select a status from the dropdown — if you are enrolling, withdrawing or rejecting an application, please refer to the step by step guides on the next page.
7. Click ‘Update’ on the bottom right of the slide over to finalise the updating of an applications status.

Enrolling an application

1. Click any name on the Applicants table to open the candidate slide over.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the slide over, under ‘Actions’ click ‘Update application status’
3. Select the ‘Enrolled’ status from the dropdown.
4. Enter the ‘Start date’ and the ‘Planned end date’ for the candidate.

5. Click ‘Update’ on the bottom right of the slide over to finalise enrolling the candidate to the training provider.

Rejecting or withdrawing an application

1. Click any name on the Applicants table to open the candidate slide over.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the slide over, under ‘Actions’ click ‘Update application status’
3. Select the ‘Withdrawn’ status from the dropdown.

4. Select the relevant reason for withdrawal from the dropdown, the available options for withdrawal are:
   • Not in the correct devolved Nation
   • Already on a programme
   • Does not meet eligibility criteria
   • Incomplete or inaccurate application
   • Failure to pass internal assessment tests
   • Ineligibility for external funding or subsidies
   • Personal choice
   • No contact / unresponsive
   • Others
5. Click ‘Update’ on the bottom right of the slide over to finalise the withdrawal of the application.
